Buffet layered salad is a low calorie healthy eating meal!

Nearly all salad meals are low in calories and are equally fat-free hence they are ideal for those aspiring to maintain good healthy health. It is equally excellent and essential for all weight watchers all over the world!

This is a simple salad and easy to make and becomes one of the best to decorate buffet tables especially during a party or during Christmas afternoon before the main Christmas dinner.

You must be sure to layer the ingredients and use a glass bowl if you can. Make the dressing the day before to give the flavors time to blend together and for convenience.

This buffet layered salad is great and excellent for about 16 servings.

RECIPES/INGREDIENTS/PREPARATION:

1.   8  strips of bacon cook and crumbled

2.   1 C of mayonnaise

3.   1/4 C of milk + 1 C of red onions chopped

4.   2 t dill weed

5.   1/2 t seasoning blend

6.   1 bunch of romaine lettuce, crush or chopped

7.   2 carrot sticks, peeled, washed and grated

8.   1 cucumber, sliced thin

9.   1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen sweet peas, thawed

10.   1 (8 oz.)pkg. of cheddar cheese, shredded

As long as you have all the ingredients  are ready and handy, the next thing is to follow the recipes or the formula and you will find how easy it is to make this simple salad.

First, place the mayonnaise, milk, dill weed and seasoning blend in a bowl and whisk until blended together well.

Then cover the dressing and refrigerate until ready to serve.

Place the lettuce into the bottom of a salad bowl and spread the grated carrots over the lettuce.

Now layer the onions and then the cucumbers.

Finally, pour the dressing over the top but do not stir but sprinkle  with the peas, cheddar cheese and bacon.
