Chive onion cheesy potatoes is an excellent and nutritious cheesy meal!


This is a super cheesy delicacy especially for those who enjoy rich cheesy meals. These cheesy potatoes can also be made with hash browns or potato slices. You can comfortably use southern hash browns with peppers and onions if you  wish.

The preparation time is approximately 5 minutes while cooking time is about 40 minutes.  That means you have 45 minutes to wait before you enjoy this luxurious cheesy dish. It makes 12 servings.


1.   2 ( 10 3/4 oz.) cans cream of celery soup

2.   2 (8oz.) pkgs. chive and onion cream cheese

3.   1 (2lb.) pkg. of frozen cubed potatoes

4.   1 (4 oz.) pkg. cheddar cheese shredded

The cooking starts with you preheat the oven to 350 degrees.

Follow up with a spray of a 9x13 baking dish with a non stick cooking spray.

Now, place the soup and cream cheese into a large microwavable bowl and cover the bowl and microwave on high, stirring occasionally, for 3 minutes or until the cheese has completely melted.

Then remove and fold in the potatoes making sure they are well covered.

Now, spread the mixture into the prepared baking dish and bake for 35 minutes or until the potatoes are soft and tender.

Finally, sprinkle the top evenly with the cheddar cheese and bake for an additional 3-5 minutes or until the cheese on top is starting to melt.

The 45minutes of cooking have given you the required chive onion cheesy potatoes. You can now congratulate yourself for your patience and creativity.  Organic fruits and vegetables!
