I love to eat crunchy radishes any time morning or night. I eat them on their own. Some People think that you can only eat these wonderful , colourful, exciting root vegetable only with salad but that's not true.

The good things about radishes are the the facts that that they can blend with numerous other vegetables and many other foods including salads.Some years ago, I was nearly addicted to eating radishes as a sort of perk me up snack!

I used to eat them on their own and then, I discovered that eating them with peanut butter was great and I went  for them almost everyday. You must try and eat them with peanut butter and experience this great crunchy peanut eating extravaganza!

RADISHES CAN GROW ANYWHERE, ANY SOIL, AT ANY ALLOTMENT PATCH OF LAND;  AND EVEN IN A DEEP WINDOW BOX.

The most exciting thing about radishes are also the fact that that can be grown anywhere and take barley 4 weeks to harvest.Radishes super head any form, type or kind of salads and blend well with any kind of foods.

The late Jane Grigson declared that it's nothing less than an "insult" to to a good radish to do anything with it except devour it whole. "Radishes... clear the taste and prepare for food and drink" she declares in her invaluable Vegetable Book, "that has been their historical and traditional functions"

The leaves of radishes are not wasted because you can comfortably use them in preparing some soups and can equally eat them with peanut butter.

What will you not do with these crispy, juicy, colourful and crunchy fresh bunch of radishes. The leaves are as soft as watercress and they are I should gaze in the same family.

THERE ARE MANY REASONS WHY YOU SHOULD EAT RADISHES:

1..The first reason is that they are crunchy, tasteful,  minty flavoured; juicy and most importantly, have several medicinal  and health benefits!

4..They can help not only to protect your bones and muscles and your immune system, but can equally protect you against cancer.The colour of these radishes are also very important in the fact that dark-coloured fruits and vegetables can help to protect you against many other forms of diseases. They have a very powerful type of antioxidant called "Anthocyanin", which is in lab tests seem to stop the growth of cancer cells while not affecting healthy cells.

5..Radishes are great healthy eating snacks and they provide the lowest calories per servings. Yes, say it loud, Radishes are the lowest calorie food you can ever have and eat! I should say it is as good and great as Watermelon! It is true, because they are 95% water as much as Watermelon and they are wonderfully  low in fat. The fact that they contain 95% water helps you to prevent hydration levels.
