Then carefully and gently pass the egg yolk from one half of the shell to the other, letting the egg white run into the bowl.

Keep passing the egg yolk from one half of the shell to the other without breaking it until all the white is in the bowl.

Now put the yolk in a separate bowl and repeat for the other eggs.

Now add the milk to the egg whites and whisk together with a fork and spray the oil into a wide frying pan and warm over a medium heat for at least 2-3 minutes. Then pour in the the egg white mixture and then add the cherry tomatoes and basil immediately.

Now season with salt and pepper and cook until set.

You may comfortably need to swirl and tilt the pan to distribute the eggs, tomatoes and basil evenly over the base of the pan.

 Finally, if your preparation is OK, the omelette should cook within or at least 1-2 minutes and you can serve immediately.
