CHEAP, RARE, fruity,EXOTIC AS WELL AS EXPENSIVE MOUTHWATERING, HEALTHY EATING VEGETARIAN RECIPES, CUISINES AND DISHES:
From now onwards, I will be featuring some cheap, exotic,healthy eating; mouthwatering, spicy as well as expensive vegetarian recipes for individuals, couples and family cuisines and dishes in this website. I would like all my readers to be on the look out. These will include recipes for lunch, dinner and and exotic healthy eating dishes and snacks that are quick and too easy to make or prepare.
Fruit and rice recipes: This is really a very quick and easy dish to prepare once you have the ingredients ready. In preparing fruit and rice dish, you have to select only the type of fruits you enjoy. You don't have to rely wholely on the fruits I have choosen here. You are free to make your own choice of fruits for yourself, you and your husband or for the entire family of 2,3,4 or more.
In the same manner, choose the type of rice you and your family enjoy or like to eat. You can choose long grain brown rice, Basmati white or brown rice, Mexican, Indian, American, West Indian and South American rice etc. The choice is all yours!
RECIPES/ INGREDIENTS/ PREPARATION:
1..2 cups of brown rice (tenderly cooked)
2..1 C Soy milk
3..1 banana, sliced
4..1 (15 oz) can of fruit cocktail
5..1/4 C water
6..2 table spoonful of natural honey
7..1 t vanilla extract
8..1/2 t cinnamon
9..1/2 nutmeg ( extract from fresh nut is always more nutritious)
PREPARATION AND COOKING IS VERY EASY AND LESS TIME CONSUMING:
First of all, place the water, honey and vanilla in a large saucepan ov er low burning stove.
Then add the bananas and fruit cocktail stirring well to cover with liquid.Follow up with the addition of the cinnamon and nutmeg and bring to boil and you are already there.
Then reduce the heat to low and allow to cook for at least 7-10 minutes until tender but don't allow to be mushy! Add and stir in the rice and pour in the soy milk and mix and stir well for a few seconds.
Finally return to a boil and cook for another 10 minutes and allow to simmer for 2-3 minutes. Congratulation! you see how quick and easy it is to cook fruit and rice recipes. You can serve, hotg, warm or cold! Happy yummy! Healthy eating recipes!
