Health benefits vitamin E are tremendous and too great to be overlooked!

THE ESSENCE AND ESSENTIAL BENEFITS OF VITAMIN E ARE NOT KNOWN BY MANY PEOPLE ALL OVER THE WORLD.

I wonder what I could do without the benefits from  this vital and wonderful Vitamin called Vitamin E!

I came to know about this Vitamin E about 1976 when I was researching for food benefits. By then I was  single!

I read how beneficial Vitamin E can be to a man as well as to a woman and most importantly to a pregnant or nursing mother.

THE TWO MOST IMPORTANT VITAMINS TO A PREGNANT AND NURSING MOTHER ARE: VITAMIN E AND FOLIC ACID!

From my studies and researches then in 1976, I discovered how vital and essential these two vitamins are to all humanity not necessary to pregnant and nursing mothers.

From the books I read, I found that if a pregnant mother eats the essential foods as well as take Vitamin E supplements of tablets or capsules and Folic acid,  she may not have the tendency of miscarriage.This is because both are known to  prevent miscarriage. But most importantly, they both are essential especially  within the first weeks of the unborn baby's  crucial development and regeneration.

These vitamins have the ability to helpn and "to ensure the proper formation of the brain and spinal cord, without which there is a higher chance of miscarriage, and a one in 1000 chance that the child will end up with a Neural Tube Disorder (NTD)." Eating healthy pregnancy!

I become so conscious about the benefits of Vitamin E. Even as a single man then, I began to take the supplements since I may not be  able to eat the essential foods that contain enough Vitamin E.

When I got married in 1977, I boldly introduced the intake of Vitamin E to my wife. When she became pregnant, I also introduced  the regular intake of Folic acid too. Both of us continued to take regular supplements until we had 4 wonderful and intelligent children- 3 girls and one boy.

We stopped taking these supplements and depended on eating the so called balanced diets but something happened along the line! This is a true case study!  My wife and I unanimously agreed to to stop having babies.Then, our only boy kept being withdrawn, miserable and inactive. After so many consultations, he revealed that he was not happy to play with the three sisters and that he wanted a boy like him who he can play with.

In response, we told him that we have given up the act of having babies but he could not take No for an answer. Eventually, we started the job for another baby. "What if the baby becomes a girl?" my wife asked and I had no answer.

We forgot every thing about Vitamin E and Folic Acid intake and my wife had three dangerous miscarriages in rapid succession. This is a true story! We resumed the regular intake of the two wonderful vitamins and were lucky to have another son who is now 24 years old and graduated three years ago!

HEALTH BENEFITS OF VITAMIN E MUST NOT BE OVERLOOKED ESPECIALLY THE SUPPLEMENTS SINCE WE CAN NOT CONSUME ENOUGH FOODS TO GIVE US THE DAILY INTAKE WE ESSENTIALLY NEED.

DIETARY GUIDELINE, HEALTH BENEFITS AND DEFINITION OF VITAMIN E:  Naturally, vitamin E are obtained from varieties of fruits, vegetables, whole grains, and fat- free  or low-fat milk and milk products. Vitamin is equally found in green leafy vegetables,whole grains and fortified cereals. It can be found and obtained from lean meats, poultry, fish, beans, eggs and nuts. Nuts are are essential source of vitamin E especially Brazil Nuts.

Vitamin E is low in in saturated fats, trans fats, cholesterol, salt (Sodium), and added sugars. Vitamin E is commonly found in vegetables oils and fruits such as in Avocado pears.

VITAMIN E IS AN ANTIOXIDANT:    Vitamin E is an antioxidant that contributes to the protection of the essential cells in our body from oxidative stress or damage. "Antioxidants protect cells from the damaging effects of free radicals, which are molecules that contain an unshared electron. Free radicals damage cells and might contribute to the development of cardiovascular disease and cancer".

The body is exposed to free radicals from environmental exposures, such as cigarette smoke, air pollution, and ultraviolet radiation from the sun.

"Vitamin E is a fat-soluble antioxidant that stops the production of ROS formed when fat undergoes oxidation. Scientists are currently investigating whether, by limiting free-radicals production and possibly through other mechanisms, vitamin E might help prevent or delay the chronic diseases associated with free radicals."

"In addition to the activities of vitamin E as an antioxidant, it is involved in immune function and as shown primarily by in vitro studies of cells, cell signaling, regulation of gene expression, and other metabolic processes (1)."

Alpha-tocopherol inhibits the activity of protein kinase C, an enzyme involved in cell prolification and differentiation in smooth muscle cells, platelets, and monocytes(6).

"Vitamin E-replete endothelial cells lining the interior surface of blood vessels and are better able to resist blood-cell components adhering to this surface.

Vitamin E also increases the expression of two enzymes that supress arachidonic acid metabolism, thereby increasing the release of protacylin from the endothelium, which, in turn, dilates blood vessels and inhibits platelet aggravation(6)."

"Naturally occuring  Vitamin E exists in eight chemical forms ((alpha-, beta-,gamma-, and delta-tocopherol and alpha-, beta-, gamma-, and delta-tocotrienol) that have varing levels of biological activity (1). Alpha- or a-) tocopherol is the only form that is recognized to meet human requirements."

"Serum  concentrations of vitamin E (alpha-tocopherol) depend on the liver, which takes up the nutrients after the various forms are absorbed from the small intestine.  The liver prefrentially resecretes only alpha-tocopherol via the hepatic alpha-tocopherol transfer protein. The liver metabolizes and excretes the other forms of vitamin E(2). As a result, blood and cellular concentrations of other forms of vitamin E  are lower than those of alpha-tocopherol and have been the subjects of less research (3,4,)."

WHY IS IT ESSENTIAL TO HAVE VITAMIN E SUPPLEMENT  YOU MAY ASK?

The answer is because we can't eat enough fruits and vegetables and cereals and other diets to give us the required daily intake!

The health benefits of Vitamin E is too great to narrate . I told you the story of my life especially how my wife had three dangerous miscarriages after we stopped taking the two vital supplements. It may be one in a million stories but I vehemently believe in the effectiveness of Vitamin E as well as Folic acid especially with pregnant and nursing mothers. Even single men and who may need a sufficient sperm counts to help  them in reproduction processes ought to take both Vitamins.  I personally believe that Vitamin E helps to make men potent and virile and women fertile! To be sincere, I wholeheartedly recommend the regular intake of Vitamin E to young men and women. Apart from helping in reproductive theater, Vitamin E is known to help in preventing cancer and numerous heart diseases.

Vitamin E helps in healing wounds fast and the most important aspect is that the wound will not have or leave any ugly scars after it heals. This a powerful side of this wonder vitamin! How do you apply vitamin E to wounds you may ask? Easy! All you have to do is to use a niddle or any sharp pointed instrument and rip open the vitamin E capsule. Once you do this, rub the liquid all over the face of the wound for at least several days until the wound heals leaving no scar or ugly scar at all. You must try this. Prove me wrong,  I challenge you!
