Healthy eating and obesity are never sweet bed fellows!
OBESITY STARTS WITH THE HABIT OF EATING UNHEALTHY DIETS AND EATING AT IRREGULAR HOURS!
Many researches by some nutritional experts point that the habit of eating unhealthy diets and eating at irregular hours are some of the reasons why obesity sets in. Another fact they adduced is that many people don't check what they eat and do not ever weigh themselves regularly.
Healthy eating is definitely one of the most important potent weapons to fight obesity! We are what we eat and what we eat can influence our lives as well as our attitudes to life!
To avoid or prevent obesity is easier than to go on diet to reduce overweight! Preventing obesity is the crusade in which all of us have to embark upon whether you are from Nigeria, United Kingdom, France, Japan,Russia, China or USA to mention a few! Everyone of us should put on the right fighting amours especially where are children are concerned!
OVERWEIGHT does not do anybody good but bad! Even your sex life will be badly affected! Overweight crowns you with shame,insecurity, lack of confidence; depression and dejection! Last week, I read a newspaper where a young man of 28 was literally crying his eyes out to medical "agony aunt" to help him get or find a female partner.
He confessed that he couldn't get one because of his weight! The 'agony aunt's advice was that he should go on diet and reduce his weight. She pointed out further that he will be sexually marketable as soon as he reduces his weight and becomes slim-fit! She finally added that the females will definitely seek his attention without any doubts or hesitation as soon as he becomes slim-fit!
TO AVOID OR PREVENT OBESITY ONE NEEDS TO MAKE SOME CHANGES ESPECIALLY CHOOSING OR ADOPTING HEALTHIER EATING AND HEALTHIER LIFESTYLES!
Average Nigerians are not obese and have no such word in their daily life vocabulary! To some extent, poverty can be a blessing in disguise! They have no problem except finding at least one or two square meals to eat in a day!
The people that have problems about OVERWEIGHT or to put it
nicely,'Obesity' are the rich and the affluent Nigerians starting from Lawyers, judges, members of the senate, representatives,governors and members of the House of assemblies. Every teacher in Nigeria is slim -fit! You don't blame them! Some are lucky when they get their salary on time that is after desperate two or three months!
Among the affluent ones we are talking about are THE NOLLYWOOD STARS! Look at these Nollywood stars today. Five years ago when many of them started, both men and women were slim-fit but today
some can be described as "Timber and Caliber!" The actresses whose vital statistics were 36-24-36 are now 40-35-50! Many Nollywood fans including me are complaining! What about the men,some of them don't even bother how they look! It is high time we fans told them the bitter truth that they are becoming grossly overweight and obese and should take immediate actions! Those actresses who had flat sexy shapes and buttocks are now decorated with heavy buttocks!
We care about You! We know that some years ago you were smart and slim-fit and have matured now into rich manhood and womanhood and can afford to buy any food or diet money can buy, and equally too busy that you can't even afford 20 minutes of daily physical exercises.
EATING JUNK FOODS OR UNHEALTHY DIETS,THOUGH EXPENSIVE,INCLUDING NOT HAVING AT LEAST 20 MINUTES OF PHYSICAL EXERCISES HAVE MADE SOME NOLLYWOOD STARS FALL VICTIM TO OBESITY!
Say it loud, some Nollywood stars are about to become obese! We know that you are not bottles which remain the same all year round but you've got to do something about your weights now!
To combat and prevent obesity,I have decided once again to recommend healthy eating diets which if followed religiously and ritualistically will keep you not only smart and fit but slim-fit and sexy!
Healthy Eating diets: 1. Start with fluted pumpkin (ugu)leaves cooked in any form eaten alone or with fresh fishes or moi moi at least five times a week!Never forget to eat breakfast!
2.Eat fresh vegetables large portions including salad without cream at least four times a week.Include fresh carrot sticks, paw paw, mangoes, and various other fruits and vegetables as well.
3.Drink fresh pineapple juice,orange juice as well as eat fresh fruits three times a day.
4. Eat fresh fishes with (ugu) leaves at least four times a week. Eat beans prepared or cooked in any form as well as beans extracts at least two times a week.
5.Drink at least one litre of cold water every day. Read more about this in my article in this web.
Finally avoid eating noodles, badly cooked food including rice. Avoid salad cream, cakes,biscuits, Isiewu,Ngwongwo,Nkwobi especially one cooked with palm oil. Eat pounded yam,ground rice,semovita, amala and their respective companions- egusi and sister soups in moderation. Finally Take care of your health and your health will take care of you.
