This  meal is a juicy, succulent beef dinner excellent for Sunday week end dinner for all the members of the family and near and dear relatives.

1.   4 lbs. deli corned beef, sliced thick

2.   1/2 C of beef broth

3.   1 large onion, halved and sliced thin

4.   2 celery stalks, sliced thin

5.   2 large russet potatoes, unpeeled and cut into 1/2 in. cubes

6.   4 C of carrots, sliced

7.   1 head of green cabbage, chopped

8.   1/4 t of allspice + 2 bay leaves

9.   1/4 t of salt + 1/4 t of pepper

Irish pot dinner recipes is a very easy meal to cook once you have all the ingredients ready and handy.

To start, first, spray a cast iron Dutch oven well with a non stick cooking spray.

Then set the oven temperature to 450 degrees and preheat the oven.Now separate the onion slices and layer into the bottom of the prepared pan. Scatter the celery  over the onions and place the corned beef over the top of the onions and celery.

Layer the potatoes over the meat and scatter the carrots over the potatoes.

Now stuff as much cabbage into the pot as it can hold.

Now pour the beef broth into a measuring cup.

Add the allspice , salt and pepper and whisk until there are no lumps.

Now follow up by pouring the mixture over the top of the cabbage and place the bay leaves into the pan.

Finally, cover and bake for 30 minutes and remove the bay leaves and spoon the sauce over each serving.
