Turkey breasts in herbs is a mouthwatering sumptuous  delicious dish!

This flavorful turkey is much faster to cook or prepare than a whole turkey. You have the choice to use any fresh herbs or dried herbs you and your family like most. This choice is all yours!

When cooking in a slow cooker, it is always advisable to remove the lid as little as possible. When you remove the lid the steam escapes or evaporates into the thin air! Remember that you need to add at least 10-15 minutes to the cooking time each time you remove the lid.

After cooking, you can eat this delicious dish with any type of vegetables as well as carbohydrate diets and foods like rice, potatoes, yam, plantain and green bananas to mention a few.

To start with, pour the chicken broth, lemon and lime juice, vinegar and oil into the blender.

Add the brown sugar, sage, thyme, marjoram, paprika; garlic and pepper and salt.

Now, pour the onion soup into the blender and add mustard.

Follow up with blending all the ingredients are thoroughly blended or mixed together.

Remove 3 1/2 C of the marinade and place in a large sealable plastic bag. Then pour the remaining marinade into a container and refrigerate.

Then add turkey breasts to the marinade in the bag and seal the bag and turn to coat the turkey well.

Now, refrigerate overnight.

Remove the turkey from the bag and discard that marinade and then place the turkey breasts into a 5 qt. slow cooker.

Finally, pour the reserved marinade over the the turkey breasts and cover with the lid and cook on high for 4 hours or until the juices run clear. Well, I must admit it takes lots of time but that's all you need to do to make  a turkey breasts in herbs dish.   Shredded roast duck recipes!
