Eat Kiwi, grapes and onions for super good health!

EAT KIWI, GRAPES AND ONIONS

FOR HEALTHY EATING, IT IS ADVISABLE TO EAT LARGE PORTIONS OF FRUITS AND VEGETABLES SO AS TO MAINTAIN AND ENJOY GOOD HEALTHY BODY.

WHY DO WE NEED TO EAT MORE FRUITS AND VEGETABLES ONE MAY ASK?

The main reasons are because fruit and vegetables are low in fat and calories but are high in fibre. What this means, is that they help to fill us up without pilling on the pounds!

More importantly, the fibre they contain also keeps our digestive system healthy, preventing problems like constipation, piles and bowel cancer. It is equally to know that one type of fibre in fruit and vegetable-soluble fibre-also helps to lower cholesterol, thereby, reducing the risk of heart disease.

Every fruit we eat has something wonderful to do in our body. The Almighty God who created these fruits know how beneficial they are to our health and good living. Perhaps, God never intended that we should be sick! Our stubbornness and ignorance most of the time contribute to our unhealthiness!Remember the wise saying. "An apple a day saves you from the doctor!"

Nigeria for example grows assorted numerous kinds of fruits, but many Nigerians don't know the benefits and are never in the habit of eating them! I have written about these in this website. It is painful to know that most of the fruits grown in Nigeria are all organic and yet majority of Nigerians don't eat them! How can anybody educate these people on the importance of Fruits and vegetables for healthy eating, fitness and long life?

Please spread the gospel or words regarding the importance of eating fruits in all the nations of the world.

EAT KIWI FRUIT:

many people don't even know the country or countries that grow Kiwi fruits.Kiwi fruit is generally grown in Australia and exported to several capital cities of the world. You should eat kiwi fruits because like all other fruits they are low in calories (about45 per fruit) so they can be part of a healthy diet plan.

They contain lots of fibre in that case, can help to maintain regularity. Like bananas, they are a very good source of potassium so you can alternate between the two fruits for your daily intake.

Kiwi fruits contain almost twice as much Vitamin C as an orange, and three times that of lemon. Vitamin C helps to boost your resistance and ensures healthy bones, teeth and blood vessels.

They equally contain Folate, which is important for an unborn baby's development.

EAT GRAPES:

Grapes especially black ones, contain several types of polyphenols, which are disease-busting antioxidants. They also contain Vitamin B which helps to keep the muscular and nervous systems in good working order.

Grapes are diuretic, rich in potassium and low in salt, so they help the body rid itself of toxins through urine.

Grapes contain lots of fibre especially in their skins and seeds and most importantly, one grape depending on the variety, has just three or four calories, so it can be part of a healthy eating diet.

EAT ONIONS:

Like any other crops and vegetables, onions are equally medicinal even though I don't enjoy eating them raw. Many people can't eat salad without including raw onions in them. I must be frank, I'm not a candidate for eating raw onions.

Onions are rich in Vitamin C and fibre, Vitamin B6, manganese, potassium and copper.

Onions are known to help kill the bacteria that may cause colds during the winter months. They also contain sulphides, which can provide protection against stomach and bowel cancers.

Like the Kiwi and grapes, they are very low in calories so they can aid weight loss and be a part of healthy eating diet. Finally, onions contain fibre that can help to stabilise blood sugar levels and stop cravings.

Generally, fruits have the tendency to boost vitamin and mineral intake, including folate for a healthy nervous system and vitamin C for strong immunity and healthy skin and hair.
