SHREDDED ROAST DUCK DIET IS NOT ONLY DELICIOUS AND NUTRITIOUS BUT IT EQUALLY CONSTITUTE A HEALTHY EATING DIET ENJOYED BY MANY PEOPLE OF THE WORLD.
Some years ago, we decided within my family that we should buy a Duck for our Christmas celebration instead of our usual Turkey, leg of lamb or beef joints. Little did we know that the poultry was full of fats. It was a disaster! The fat was too much for our liking.
I must confess, that we didn't like the stuff because of the fat. In addition, I must admit we did not cook it well! From that Christmas for nearly 22 years, I did not eat duck nor did my family ever thought about it again at Christmas.
Yes, after 22 years, I ate shredded roast duck at Chinese restaurant and I enjoyed everything about it! From that day, I became hooked on eating shredded roast duck at any given restaurant.I discovered how delicious and tasty it can be!
SHREDDED ROAST DUCK CAN BE EATEN AS SLIMMERS SNACK:
As slimmers snack, the shredded roast duck can be eaten with lettuce, sliced fresh tomatoes, cucumber, sliced or shredded carrot; and washed down with a glass or two of cold water and pineapple juice.
On the other, hand it could be eaten as full meal. As full meal for at least two-four people, here is the recipe:
1...One healthy duck, cleaned, washed and skins removed and roasted.
After roasting, chose the soft boneless parts and shred. Shredding takes a few minutes after the bones had been removed.
2...Add 5-10 sticks of carrot, bunch of fluted pumpkin leaves, 1lb of mushroom, a bunch of spring onion, a bunch of broccoli and few Brussels sprouts and runner beans and chop and boil until tender.
3...Add roast potatoes
4...Add 1 spf of vegetable oil, salt and pepper after all the ingredients had been boiled and potatoes roasted.
Then find out how many servings you would like. Once the duck and potatoes are fully roasted, shredded,and the vegetables boiled, you can sit for a delicious and nutritious meal second to none!
